These examples show the expected response and correct commands to use in real situations.

Use this page to guide your response in common moderation situations.


💬 Scenario 1: Player Spamming Chat

A player is flooding chat with repeated messages or excessive caps.

What to do:

  • ✅ Give a clear warning first

  • ⌨️ /warn <player> Spamming chat

  • If continued: /mute <player> 10m Continued spam after warning


🤬 Scenario 2: Toxic Behavior

A player is being rude or toxic toward others.

What to do:

  • ✅ Issue a formal warning

  • ⌨️ /warn <player> Toxic behavior / disrespect

  • Escalate if they continue: /tempmute <player> 30m Continued toxicity


🗣️ Scenario 3: Arguing with Staff

A player is arguing with your decision in public chat.

What to do:

  • 🔇 Calmly shut it down

  • ⌨️ /warn <player> Arguing with staff / disrupting moderation

  • Use /mute if they persist after being told to stop

📝 If they continue, direct them to appeal in Discord instead.


🧢 Scenario 4: Impersonating Staff

A player nicknamed themselves as staff or claims to be one.

What to do:

  • ⌨️ /warn <player> Staff impersonation is not allowed

  • Change nickname if needed (Admins only)

  • If repeated: /kick or escalate to Admin


📢 Scenario 5: Advertising Another Server

A player sends an IP or Discord invite.

What to do:

  • ⌨️ /mute <player> Advertising

  • Gather logs, take a screenshot

  • Report in staff Discord

  • Admins: /ban if it’s intentional and not first offense


🧍 Scenario 6: New Player Has Inappropriate Username

A player joins with a name like “Hacks123” or something offensive.

What to do:

  • ⌨️ /kick <player> Inappropriate username – please change it

  • Log it in staff Discord

  • Ban only if they return with the same or worse name repeatedly


⚔️ Scenario 7: Combat Logging

A player logs out mid-fight to avoid dying.

What to do:

  • Check logs or ask witnesses

  • ⌨️ /warn <player> Combat logging is not allowed

  • Repeat offenders may be muted or kicked


📚 Final Notes

  • Always give a clear warning if possible

  • Log serious actions in staff Discord

  • Unsure? Ask an Admin or escalate privately

  • Keep your tone calm, professional, and fair — always
